No Bull Planning (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Texas-based education business. This policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit our websites, purchase or use the No Bull Planning Academy, complete an assessment, receive an Estate Plan Fit Report, participate in our referral program, or contact us.
Questions or privacy requests? Email hello@nobullplanning.com.
1. Information we collect
Contact, account, and purchase information. We collect information you provide to create an account, make a purchase, or contact us, such as your name, email address, billing information, and messages. We also receive transaction details, payment status, and account identifiers from the services that support your purchase and account. Stripe processes payments.
Assessment answers and report information. We collect the answers you provide in our educational assessment and the Estate Plan Fit Report generated from them. This includes names used to personalize your report, your state of residence, general family and financial circumstances, and planning interests and preferences. Questions about potential beneficiaries ask about broad circumstances without asking you to identify those individuals. We use this information to help you understand planning options and possible next steps.
Usage and referral information. We and our technology providers may collect IP addresses, browser and device information, approximate location, cookies and similar identifiers, pages viewed, links clicked, course or video activity, email interactions, referring pages, campaign identifiers, and purchase events. We also collect referral-link activity and records needed to calculate discounts or rewards. These records may be associated with your account or purchase.
We receive information directly from you, automatically through your use of our services, and from our payment, account, communications, analytics, advertising, and referral providers.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Process purchases, create accounts, and provide the Academy and its resources.
- Prepare, deliver, and support your Estate Plan Fit Report. Your answers are processed automatically using predefined decision rules.
- Respond to questions and send account, purchase, and service messages.
- Send No Bull Planning marketing emails, subject to your choices.
- Understand website and course use, measure advertising and sales, improve our services, and administer referrals.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
We use your assessment answers to generate, deliver, and support your educational report. We do not use your assessment answers or report contents for advertising or building advertising audiences.
3. When information is disclosed
Providers that help deliver our services. We disclose information needed for website hosting, payment processing, customer accounts, course and video delivery, forms, report generation, automation, storage, email, customer support, and referral administration. These providers process information for the functions they perform. They do not receive your assessment answers or report for their own marketing.
Analytics and advertising partners. We disclose limited online activity and conversion information as described in Section 4, subject to your privacy choices and applicable law.
Referral participants. A person who refers you may see an anonymous referral identifier, whether a qualifying purchase occurred, and related reward information. We do not provide that person with your name, email address, assessment answers, or report.
Legal and security needs. We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers, courts, government authorities, or other appropriate recipients when reasonably necessary and legally permitted to meet legal obligations, protect rights, address fraud or security issues, or resolve disputes.
Our commitment. We do not sell or rent customer lists or sell leads. We do not provide customer contact information, assessment answers, or reports to law firms, financial advisers, or other businesses for their independent marketing. The advertising disclosures below explain how online tracking can be treated differently under privacy laws.
4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use essential technologies to operate and secure our services. We also use optional analytics and advertising technologies, including cookies, pixels, and server-to-server conversion reporting, to understand how people find us, measure purchases, and advertise the Academy. Providers may include Google and Meta.
Depending on the tools enabled, these providers may receive online identifiers, IP addresses, device information, pages and links visited, campaign or referral identifiers, and purchase events or values. They may connect this information with activity across other websites and services to measure advertising or personalize ads. Some privacy laws classify these disclosures as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising,” even when no customer list is sold and no money is paid for the information.
You can manage optional analytics and advertising using Privacy Choices in our website footer. You can also email hello@nobullplanning.com with an opt-out request. We honor recognized Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising for the browser or device sending the signal. These choices apply to covered server-to-server advertising disclosures as well as browser tracking.
Browser settings can also limit cookies. Settings may need to be renewed after clearing cookies or when using another browser or device. Essential account and payment functions may continue to process information after an advertising opt-out. Older “Do Not Track” signals do not automatically change our practices; Global Privacy Control is handled as described above.
5. Your choices and privacy requests
Marketing emails. Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact us. We may still send messages needed for your purchases, account, or requested services.
Access, correction, and deletion. Email hello@nobullplanning.com to request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to opt out of certain processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision on your request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law.
We may need to verify your identity or an agent’s authority before disclosing, changing, or deleting information. Advertising opt-outs do not require account creation or identity verification, although we may need enough information to apply your request. We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any permitted extension or denial. If we deny a request, reply to our decision asking for an appeal. We will explain the outcome and, where required, how to contact your state privacy regulator or attorney general.
We do not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. Deleting information needed to provide an account or report may affect those features; we will explain the effect when relevant.
6. Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, considering the information involved, your use of our services, and applicable legal requirements. For example, we may need account and report records to provide continuing access, and transaction records for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or deidentify it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries; we do not promise that all information remains in the United States.
7. Children
Our services are intended for adults age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Adults may provide limited family information for their own planning. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us so we can address it.
8. Other services and policy updates
External websites and services you choose to visit have their own privacy practices. This policy describes No Bull Planning’s practices.
We may update this policy as our services or requirements change. We will post the revised policy and effective date here. For material changes, we will also provide a prominent website or account notice or notify you by email. We will obtain additional consent when required by law.
